The 2000s

At the start of a new millennium Olympic Studios continues to attract many of the most successful pop and rock artists of this era. Artists including Madonna, Oasis, Placebo, amongst many others have recorded or mixed at the studio. Equipment upgrades, the addition of new pre production rooms, and the installation of a new console in Studio 1 also means that Olympic Studios can accommodate full surround mixing, and has to date completed a number of audio projects for DVD and SACD releases, for bands including Coldplay and Doves. A classic EMI TG console is a recent addition to the equipment available at Olympic enhancing the creative options for analogue recording at the site.

In recent months bands including The Arctic Monkeys, The Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, The Zutons and Goldfrapp have recorded and/or mixed projects in the studios.
