The 1990s

Roger Waters returned to Olympic in 1990 to mix the historical live recording Live In Berlin an all star performance of The Wall following the fall of the Berlin wall. During the 90’ s Olympic was a venue ever popular for recording and mixing projects for the then current music scene, a reputation which has become arguably second to none. Whether pop, rock, indie, soul or electronic was in fashion artists such as James, Jesus Jones, Terence Trent D'Arby, INXS, Morrissey, 808 State, Bjork, and Suede all completed tracks at the site.

The 90’s saw the studios under siege as Spice Mania took over the pop world. The girls recorded their first and second albums at Olympic then Geri returned for her debut album Schizophonic. Oasis recorded & mixed their fourth album Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants and right at the other end of the spectrum Atomic Kitten recorded their debut album Right Now in Olympic's Studio 3.

Olympic is conveniently located close enough to the record company offices, yet discreetly hidden from the hustle of London to attract top rock artists who prefer to record away from the limelight.
